📋 Overview

BattleLOTLS is a free-to-play mobile game. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you play BattleLOTLS.

By using the game, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

📡 Information Collection and Use

BattleLOTLS stores most game progress (energy, coins, unlocked characters, login streaks, and win history) locally on your device. The game also uses a global leaderboard powered by Firebase, which involves transmitting a small amount of data to Google's servers. See the Leaderboard section below for full details.

The game uses a third-party advertising service (Google AdMob) that may collect certain data to serve ads. See the Third Party Access section below for details.

🔗 Third Party Access

BattleLOTLS uses the following Google services, each subject to Google's privacy policy:

• Google AdMob — displays rewarded ads. May collect device identifiers (Advertising ID), IP address, approximate location, and ad interaction data.
• Firebase Authentication — assigns an anonymous identifier to your device for leaderboard purposes. No email, name, or account is required.
• Firebase Firestore — stores leaderboard data (see Leaderboard section below).

🏆 Leaderboard

BattleLOTLS includes an optional global leaderboard. The following applies when you use it:

• Anonymous identifier — on first launch, the game silently signs you in anonymously via Firebase Authentication. A randomly generated ID is assigned to your device. This ID is not linked to any personal account, email address, or real-world identity.
• Gameplay statistics — your battles won, battles lost, and number of axolotls unlocked are sent to Firebase Firestore and displayed publicly on the leaderboard.
• Display name — you may optionally choose a display name that appears publicly on the leaderboard. This is entirely optional. If you set a name, it is stored on Firebase and visible to all players. Do not use your real name, email address, or any other personal information as your display name. Once set, the display name cannot be changed.

🚫 Opt-Out Rights

You can opt out of interest-based advertising by Google AdMob by following the instructions provided in Google's Privacy Policy linked above.

On Android, you can also reset or opt out of the Advertising ID via Settings → Privacy → Ads on your device.

💾 Data Retention Policy

BattleLOTLS stores game data in two places:

• On your device — energy, coins, unlocked characters, login streaks, and win history are stored in your device's local storage. You can clear this at any time via your device's app settings or by uninstalling the app.
• On Firebase (Google's servers) — leaderboard data (anonymous ID, optional display name, wins, losses, unlocked count) is retained until you delete it. To delete your leaderboard entry, use Reset Game in the app's Settings menu, which permanently removes your entry from our database.

👶 Children's Privacy

BattleLOTLS does not require an account or ask for any personal information. The anonymous identifier assigned by Firebase is randomly generated and not linked to any real-world identity.

The leaderboard includes an optional display name field. Players are warned within the app not to enter personal information. Parents or guardians of younger players should be aware that any display name entered will be visible publicly on the leaderboard.

The game's ad network (AdMob) is configured in accordance with Google's Families Policy. If you have any concerns, contact us at the address below.

🔒 Security

We value your trust and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting any information associated with BattleLOTLS. Since the game does not collect personal data on our own servers, your primary data security depends on your device's own security measures.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.

Changes are effective immediately upon being posted to this page.

🔔 Notifications

BattleLOTLS may request permission to send you local notifications (for example, to remind you when your energy orbs are recharged). These notifications are generated entirely on your device — no personal data is collected or transmitted to our servers for this purpose. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or within the app's Settings menu.
